The European Data Protection Supervisor - EDPS processes your personal data as controller to organise, manage the Anniversary Website and the European Data Protection Summit organised on 20 June 2024.
We process your personal data based on Regulation (EU) 2018/1725 of the European Parliament and of the Council on the protection of natural persons with regard to the processing of personal data by the Union institutions and bodies, offices and agencies and on the free movement of such data, and repealing Regulation (EC) No 45/2001 and Decision No 1247/2002/EC (‘the Regulation’).
The personal information requested from you are needed for the following purposes:
- to manage the Anniversary Website
- to organise the European Data Protection Summit, in particular its venue and logistic aspects, including the registration process and web streaming
- to organise related side events and activities
- to handle all communications with website visitors and events participants.
