Rafael Zanatta

Rafael A. F. Zanatta is the co-director of Data Privacy Brasil. He holds a PhD from the University of São Paulo, with a period of study at the Institute of Information Law at the University of Amsterdam. 

Additionally, he earned a master's degree from the Faculty of Law of the University of São Paulo, where he was a member of the Law, Internet, and Society Center. 

He completed a master's degree (LLM) at the University of Turin, focusing on law and economics. Zanatta has served as a researcher at Fundação Getulio Vargas, Idec, and InternetLab. 

He is the author of the book "The Collective Protection of Personal Data in Brazil" (2023) and the co-editor of the books "Data, Digital Markets, and Competition" (2023) and "Building Pathways for Data Justice in Brazil" (2022).
