Venue Accessibility

The main entrance is under the glass cube shown in the picture. You can access it via the Mont des Arts park, taking the staircase underneath it.

If you have mobility problems, the venue has a side entrance with an elevator. However, for security reasons, you need to indicate this when you fill out the registration form. We will follow up with dedicated instructions on how to reach the secondary entrance. 

As attendees, you will have the opportunity to explore various areas within the venue. These include the spacious registration hall, Silver foyer, Magritte foyer and Magritte lounge. You can also look forward to attending panels and speeches in the Copper hall, The Arc and Hall 300. For a detailed schedule, please refer to the programme.

How to reach the venue?

Bicycle: The Brussels bicycle network is well-marked on all routes around the city, and cycling is encouraged as an excellent way for visitors to discover the city. Cycling is permitted on all roads in both directions, even on one-way streets for vehicles. Look for the signs with “Excepte / Uitgezonderd” and a bike picture.
There are several parking spots close to the venue and you can rent bicycles throughout Brussles using different services like:

Public Transportation: The Central Station of Brussels is a short walk across the Mont-des-Arts public gardens. All main tram, bus, metro and train lines converge here, as well as the fast train from Brussels International Airport. Train routes to every part of Belgium run from the same station, including Antwerp, Bruges, Charleroi, Gent, Mons and Liège. Here are the main lines you can use to get to the venue: 

  • Metro lines 1 and 5
  • Tram lines 38, 63, 65, 86, 92 and 93
  • Bus lines 29, 38, 48, 66, 71, 86 and 95
  • Night bus services N06, N08, N09, N10, N11

Taxi: If you need a taxi, here are four of the main taxi companies providing transportation to and from Brussels Airport :

Check-in and badge pick-up: 

The registration desk will be open from 8:30 AM and accessible throughout the day. However, we advise participants to arrive a little before the beginning of the event to ensure a smooth check-in process.

You will be welcomed with a badge and a surprise gift when you arrive at the registration desk. Then, you can proceed to the Copper and Magritte foyers, where a welcome coffee and waffles will be waiting for you. The Summit will start at 09:15 AM straight.

 

Cloakroom: 

A space to deposit your belongings will be available for you to use behind the registration desk, please note that it will be unattended.

 

Wifi: 

An open WiFi connection will be available for all participants; we will share the connection details closer to the event.

 

Video recording and photography:

All sessions will be web-streamed and recorded. The cameras will focus on the speakers, so you will appear on screen only if you actively engage in the Q&A section. A photographer and videographer will also be on-site to document the event. Please make sure to pick the right sticker colour at the registration if you do not want your picture or video used. Lunch and coffee breaks: 

We will provide attendees with a welcome coffee, three coffee breaks, lunch, and a farewell cocktail. The coffee bar will be open throughout the day. Lunch will consist of a selection of sandwiches with a vegan option. Labels will indicate any allergens present in the food. The day will end with a cocktail reception.

 

Sustainability of the venue:

From 2014 to 2018, SQUARE was awarded the first star of the Eco-dynamic label by the City of Brussels and in August 2019, achieved ISO 20121 certification. To find out more, click here.
