Orla Lynskey

Orla Lynskey is an Associate Professor at LSE Law School and a Visiting Professor at the College of Europe, Bruges. In September 2024, she will join UCL Faculty of Laws as Chair of Law and Technology. 

She is a joint Editor-in-Chief of International Data Privacy Law, an Editorial Committee member of the Modern Law Review and on the Programme Committee of the US Privacy Law Scholars Conference. 

Her recent scholarship includes work on the legal implications of synthetic data and a critical analysis of the notion of 'complete and effective' data protection in EU law.
