Sarah Chander is an advocate and organiser with several years of experience organising with European grassroots movements on racial justice, feminism, digital and LGBT rights. 

Sarah co-founded the Equinox Initiative of Racial Justice, an organisation working in solidarity with racial and social justice leaders to influence policy, build coalitions and connect struggles for justice in Europe. Equinox is led by queer, racialised people with a vision for societies of care, protection and social provision. 

Previously, she led civil society advocacy on the EU’s Artificial Intelligence Act at European Digital Rights (EDRi), coordinating a coalition of 150 civil society organisations calling for a human rights-based approach to the EU’s AI legislation.
