Presenting the 20th anniversary

In 2024, we are commemorating two decades of the EDPS safeguarding citizens’ rights to privacy and data protection. Since its foundation, the EDPS has been providing essential contributions, as the EU’s independent data protection authority, in shaping the current data protection landscape. This milestone provides us with a unique opportunity to reflect on the past to chart new courses.

Join our activities to gain a deeper understanding of data protection, its history, and its future.
